Punk Clothing Styles For Girls

Does my style really matter to girls?

I am white.
I have an afro.
I cant style my hair except for short or medium length or it looks stupid.
I wear pretty plain clothes, nothing special. I was just wondering though, if I started dressing skater, punk, or something… Cause I noticed alot of ugly guys but they get girls i’m not sure if its their style.
Also I started working out so Im not too worried about looking in shape Im just wondering if style plays a big role in who girls find hot.
